Scientific Qualifications

PhD in Science from the Free University of Brussels/Belgium in 1978;
Bachelor in Administrative Mathematics from the Free University of Brussels/Belgium in 1973;
Diploma in Electromechanical Engineer from the Higher School of Engineering in Beirut in 1971;
Bachelor in Mathematics from the Faculty of Science at the Lebanese University in 1971.

Professional Career

Lecturer at the Faculty of Science of the Lebanese University in 1978 and then at the Faculty of Engineering;
Director of the Faculty of Science (Branch 2) between 1980-1990;
Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering (Branch 2) between 1991-1996;
Managed the Master of Advanced Studies in the Department of Computer Modeling & Simulation between the Lebanese University and the Francophone University Agency (AUF) between 2003-2007;
Former lecturer at Saint Joseph University of Beirut and the Higher Institute of Applied & Economic Sciences in Lebanon (CNAM);
Director of CNAM-Lebanon between 2003-2007;
Consultant in engineering and industrial research in a number of local and international institutions and companies;
Author of research papers published on production topics from hydroelectric plants and automatic control.
