- PhD in Physics of Magnetic Materials, Radiation & Nuclear Resonance from Clark University in Massachusetts - USA in 1976;
- Diploma in Physics of Nuclear Reactions from the University of Freiberg - Germany in 1968;
- Bachelor in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Freiberg - Germany in 1963.
Professional Career
- Lecturer at the Faculty of Science - Lebanese University between 1992-2003;
- Lecturer in a number of universities between Lebanon and Arab and Western countries, including Saint Joseph University of Beirut, Clark University in the US state of Massachusetts, the University of Tripoli in Libya, Yarmouk University in Jordan and the University of the United Arab Emirates;
- Member of the Board of Directors of the National Council for Scientific Research/Lebanon from 2001 until his death;
- Established the Scientific Research Laboratory/the field of radioactive radon gas measurements and the measurement of uranium isotope elements in building materials at the Atomic Energy Commission/Lebanon;
- Conducted field research in cooperation with the British Harwell Laboratories to measure the level of depleted and enriched uranium as a result of the Israeli bombing of Lebanon in the July 2006 war;
- Author of more than 20 scientific papers published in international peer-reviewed physical journals;
- Winner of local and international awards, including the shield of the League of Arab States for Arab Pioneers - Cairo in 1999;
Passed away on January 9, 2022.
