Lebanese University reopens its doors
President Bassam Badran confirmed that the number of registered students has risen to 50,000 out of 65,000 students.
"We divide the academic year into three parts," he told LBCI. "The first started on October 28 in some faculties, the second on November 4, when we will reach 12 out of 16 faculties that started their academic year, and the third on November 11, when the last faculties will start.
He explained that registration in the faculties is open until November 29, and some faculties are closed, which means they require an exam, noting that "since October 28, four faculties have started distance education and lectures are recorded for students."
