Conclusion of the "Alternative Means of Resolving Maritime Disputes and Petroleum Activities" course

The Mediation & Arbitration Training Office, jointly organized by the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences and the Research & Strategic Studies Center (RSSC) in the Lebanese Army, concluded a training course entitled "Alternative Means of Resolving Maritime Disputes and Petroleum Activities" in the presence of a group of experts, academics and those interested in the field of maritime law and energy.

 

The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences, Dr. Habib Kazzi, praised the role of the Office in developing the legal skills of workers in the public and private sectors.

 

Dean Kazzi emphasized that this course is an important step towards promoting the culture of alternative dispute resolution, which contributes to reducing the burden on the judiciary and speeding up the process of resolving disputes.

 

The course highlighted mechanisms to resolve disputes peacefully and effectively in vital sectors such as maritime transportation and petroleum exploration.
