
Simulated Clinical Examination Training at the Faculty of Medical Sciences
For the second year in a row, the Faculty of Medical Sciences organized a simulated clinical exam for fifth-year students (academic year 2024-2025) under the supervision of Dr. Mahmoud Hallal, Head of the Simulation Training Unit.
The training session included a theoretical discussion that introduced students to the basics of clinical examination in four majors: Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Pediatrics & Obstetrics & Gynecology.
After the theoretical discussion, the students practiced on four different cases within each specialty and applied the skills of the theoretical part to record all results of clinical examination.
Dr. Jihad Al-Hassan led the first training session with the participation of residents Abbas Rashid, Youssef Rahmeh, Kawthar Diab, and Reem Zoabi.
A team of general medicine students also participated in the training, including Adam Zeineddine, Sarah Salim, Jack Ghazal, Ali Salloum, Adel Ayyash, Mira Tafili, Andre Chemali, Joseph Saab and Hadi Khazem.
