
LU students rank 1st and 2nd in the mock trial at Sagesse University
The Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences - Branch 2 won the first and second places in the mock trial competition organized by Sagesse University in cooperation with Adyan Foundation.
The students, who are from the bachelor's and master's levels, presented arguments on the competition's theme “Women's Rights in Personal Status Laws”.
Winning students:
First place: Jihane Sfeir, Christina El Waary, David Fadel, Mabelle Matar, and Rebecca Daccache
Second place: Christina Minassian - Antonella Fares - Jennifer Nassour - Rita Abi Chaker
David Fadel also won the award for Best Speech Lawyer.
Professors Katia Eid, Rosalyne Moubarak, Aline Nehme, Mary-Louise Alam and Pascale Daher supervised the students' work and accompanied them in preparing for the competition.
