Said Houmani, table tennis champion at the Faculty of Medical Sciences
Said Houmani won the table tennis championship at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, in which 32 students from different academic years competed in two groups.
Houmani defeated Mohammed Al-Khatib, the title holder, 3-2 in the final match. He also defeated Joe Andari and Ahmed Nohman 2-0, Taher Jaber by withdrawal due to injury, and Jad Fayyad 2-1.
Al-Khatib defeated Hussein Kanj 2-0, Rafiq Badr and Jean Pierre Abi Ghosn 2-1, and Ralph Bou Nehme 2-1. Fayyad and Bou Nehme finished third and fourth, respectively.
The tournament organizer, coach Dani Naanouh, distributed the cups and medals to the winners.
