
Webinar on “Secular Images in the Eastern Mediterranean” at the FLHS
The Department of Arts & Antiquities at the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences, organized a webinar entitled “Secular Images in the Medieval Eastern Mediterranean, 12th – 14th Centuries” presented by Professor Gohar Grigoryan from the Universities of Fribourg, Switzerland, and Florence, Italy.
The webinar addressed the topic of secular images in the Eastern Mediterranean basin (Armenia and Palestine) during the Middle Ages, i.e., the 12th to 14th centuries, and highlighted their social, cultural, and artistic dimensions within their historical context.
