Scientific Qualifications
- Studied at the French Secular Mission School - Beirut until high school;
- PhD in Law from Saint Joseph University in Beirut;
- PhD in History from the University of Lyon in France.
Professional Career
- Taught at the Lebanese University and at the Institute of Oriental Literature of Saint Joseph University in Beirut;
- Appointed Dean of the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences at the Lebanese University in 1965 and 1966;
- Appointed President of the Lebanese University between 1977 and 1980;
- Held several diplomatic positions, including Lebanon's ambassador to France, the Vatican and the UNESCO, and was appointed President of the Council of Arab Ambassadors in France;
- Appointed Director General of Information in 1959, and remained until 1965;
- Has a number of research papers and books on history, philosophy, law and political science.
Passed away on January 26, 1999 in France.
