President Badran meets with a delegation from the Russian Cultural Center in Beirut and North Caucasus Federal University
President Bassam Badran received in his office at the Central Administration, on 7 February 2022 a delegation from the Russian Cultural Center in Beirut and the North Caucasus Federal University (NCFU), in the presence of the former University President, Professor Fouad Ayoub.
The Russian delegation included Dr. Vadim Zaychikov, Director of the Russian Cultural Center in Beirut, Ruslan Ramazanov, Deputy Director, Dmitry N. Bespalov. Acting Rector, North-Caucasus Federal University, Dr. Olga Sergeyevna Kozuyatova, Head of the Preparatory Department for Foreign Citizens - NCFU, and Ms. Mina Islamovna Akhvardieva, Director of Information & Media Policy - NCFU.
The parties discussed activating the cooperation agreement between the Lebanese University and NCFU, including the exchange of professors to teach Russian and Arabic languages in the two universities.
They also discussed establishing a joint master's degree, joining an international union of six countries to teach the Russian language and exchanging scientific publications.
