Scientific Qualifications

  • PhD in Rural, Social and Economic History from the Lebanese University in 1993;
  • Master’s degree in History from the Lebanese University in 1981;
  • Teaching Bachelor’s degree in History from the Lebanese University in 1977;
  • Certificate of Proficiency in Secondary Education from the Lebanese University – Faculty of Pedagogy in 2003.

Professional Career

  • Lecturer at the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences – Department of History between 1993 and 2013;
  • Dean of the Lebanese University – Faculty of Tourism & Hospitality Management between 2011 and 2013;
  • Supervising Professor at the Lebanese University – Doctoral School of Literature, Humanities & Social Sciences;
  • Member of the committees for authoring national education, civic education and history courses at the Center for Educational Research and Development (CRDP)
  • Published many academic books and textbooks and series of lectures and press articles on education, vocational education, family, public social services, agriculture, water and irrigation, the rural village and others.
