- PhD in Economics from the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne in France;
- PhD in Enterprise Economics from the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne in France;
- Postgraduate Diploma in Energy Economics from the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne in France;
- Master of Advanced Study in Productive Economics from the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne in France;
- Bachelor and Merit in Economics from Saint Joseph University in Beirut.
Professional Career
- Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration at the Lebanese University and Director of Branch 2 twice between 1986 and 1993;
- Dean of the Faculty of Information at the Lebanese University between 1993 and 1997, and founder of the Diploma in Francophone Studies in cooperation with the French Press Institute (IFP) and the Journalists Training Center (CFJ) in France in 1994;
- General Director in the Presidency of the Lebanese Republic - charged with following up on economic, social, cultural, education, higher education and scientific research files (about 20 years);
- Founder of the National Institute of Administration (ENA-LIBAN) in cooperation with France and Head of the Institute of a period;
- Expert member of the French High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (Hcéres);
- Founding member of the Lebanese Businessmen Association (RDCL);
- Member of the Strategic Committee of the Cultural Council of the Union for the Mediterranean;
- Member of the Research Evaluation and Development Committee (CEDRE);
- Member of the Francophone Business Forum (FFA);
- Author of several books on economics and finance, and Editor-in-Chief of Le Commerce du Levant;
- Awarded a number of legions, including the National Legion of Honor (rank of Commander) from the Presidency of the French Republic, the National Order of the Cedar (Commander Rank) from the Presidency of the Lebanese Republic, and the Grand Cross from the King of Spain, Juan Carlos, etc.
