Professional Career
- Lecturer at the Lebanese University since 1977 between the Faculty of Pedagogy, the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences, the Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture and the Faculty of Information;
- Holder of the rank of Professor in 1987;
- Dean of the Faculty of Information of the Lebanese University between 2001 and 2009;
- Director of the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences (Branch 5) of the Lebanese University between 1990 and 1999 and Head of the Department of Philosophy for several years;
- Head of the doctoral committee at the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences of the Lebanese University, and supervised dozens of PhD dissertations and master theses in the field of philosophy between Lebanon and France;
- Former lecturer at the American University of Beirut (AUB);
- Worked at the Arab Development Institute – Beirut;
- Member of the editorial board of "al-Baheth" magazine between 1980 and 1983;
- He worked in the field of translation, and translated to Arabic a number of the most important books, including "Cultural Globalization", "The Sociology of Intellectuals", "The Enlightenment Controversy".
- Author of large number of published articles;
- Honored by the National Center for Translation in the translator's day activities in 2018.
