- PhD in Environmental Sciences & Analytical Chemistry from Paris Descartes University in 2004;
- Master of Advanced Study in sustainable agriculture in the Mediterranean from Paris Descartes University in 1998;
- Diploma in Agricultural Engineering from the Faculty of Agriculture at the Lebanese University in 1996;
- Bachelor of Law from the University of La Sagesse, Beirut in 2000.
Professional Career
- Lecturer at the Faculty of Agronomy of the Lebanese University and Dean since 2020;
- Head of the Environment & Natural Resources Department at the Faculty of Agronomy of the Lebanese University since 2014;
- Teaching Staff Representative at the Faculty of Agronomy of the Lebanese University between 2017 and 2019;
- Coordinator of PhD between the Lebanese University and the University of Sassari in Italy;
- Supervisor and rapporteur of dozens of PhD dissertations and master theses at the Lebanese University in partnership with international universities;
- Member of the National Council for Scientific Research (CNRS), and member of the Environmental Committee and the Scientific Committee of the Order of Engineers and Architects – Beirut;
- Director of SEEL project to support the judiciary in implementing environmental legislation at the Ministry of Justice in 2007;
- Introducer and lecturer of Environmental Law course in a number of universities (Lebanese University, Holy Spirit University - Kaslik, University of La Sagesse, Saint Joseph University, Islamic University and the Institute for Judicial Studies);
- Author of dozens of scientific papers published in international peer-reviewed journals and two books "Chemical Pollution of the Lebanese Coast" and "Environmental Law";
- Awarded the Fulbright scholarship from the US Embassy in Beirut for the year 2014-2015.
