Scientific Qualifications

  • Accreditation to Supervise Research (HDR) from the Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines University;
  • PhD in Engineering from the Central School of Lyon (ECL);
  • Master in Engineering from the Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne;
  • Diploma in Engineering from the National Polytechnic School of Algiers.

Professional Career

  • Professor and Researcher at the Faculty of Engineering of the Lebanese University, and Dean since 2012;
  • International Expert in quality and accreditation at the French High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (Hcéres);
  • Advisor to the President of the Lebanese University for Quality Assurance & Accreditation since 2010;
  • Vice President of the International Conference of Francophone Engineers and Technicians since 2012;
  • Member of several committees for obtaining a qualification in HDR and PhD dissertation arbitration;
  • Visiting professor at 36 French and Canadian universities;
  • Author of more than 200 scientific and research publications in peer-reviewed international scientific journals and eight international research projects.
