Scientific Qualifications

  • PhD in General Medicine from the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the Lebanese University in 1999;
  • Certificate of specialization in pediatrics from the University of Paris V in 2003;
  • Subspecialty Certificate in Pediatric Neurology from the University of Paris XI in 2004.

 

Professional Career

  • Lecturer at the Faculty of Medical Sciences/Lebanese University in 2015, and at the Neuroscience Research Center in 2020;
  • Holder of the rank of professor in 2023;
  • Assigned the duties of the Deanship of the Faculty of Medical Sciences/Lebanese University, as of 23 February 2024;
  • Head of the Department of Pediatrics at the Faculty of Medical Sciences/Lebanese University since 2020;
  • Supervisor of oral and written examinations for pediatric residents at the Faculty of Medical Sciences/Lebanese University;
  • Consultant in Pediatric Neurology at Clemenceau Medical Center and Al Zahraa Hospital University Medical Center;
  • Medical consultant at the Early Childhood Intervention Center in Beirut - Lebanon (ECIL);
  • Former consultant pediatric neurologist at a number of Canadian health networks and institutions;
