PhD in Dental Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine at Free University of Brussels in 1995;
Master in Periodontology from the Faculty of Medicine at the Free University of Brussels in 1997.

Professional Career

Lecturer at the Faculty of Medical Sciences – Dental Medicine Branch at the Lebanese University in 1983;
Dean of the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the Lebanese University since 2016;
Head of the Department of Oral and Maxillo-facial Surgery at the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the Lebanese University between 2013 and 2017;
President of the Alumni of Lebanese Dentists of the Lebanese University (ADDUL) since 2013;
President of the Lebanese Dental Association between 2000 and 2003;
President of the World Federation for Laser Dentistry (WFLD) between 2018-2020 and 2020-2022;
Executive Member and Chairman of the Middle East and African Division of the World Federation of Laser in Dentistry between 2006 and 2018;
Consultant in Department of Stomatology at C.H.U. St. Peter University Hospital, Ambroise Pare University, Belgium and the Free University of Brussels;
Author of more than 30 researches and articles published in peer-reviewed international journals on HIV infection, laser risks, safety and security standards in dentistry, oncology and dental sensitivity, etc.
