Student Leila Kamali wins the award for best innovative project in the competition “Doctoriales 2021”
Student Leila Kamali won the first-place award for the best innovative project within the competition “Doctoriales 2021” organized by the French University of Reunion Island between 28 September and 2 October 2021, for her project related to the creation of a drug for the treatment and prevention of diabetes and weight gain.
The competition provides PhD students with the opportunity to learn about the culture of entrepreneurship and work on presenting an innovative project subject to evaluation by a specialized jury.
It is noteworthy that Leila is pursuing her PhD dissertation in natural sciences at the Doctoral School of Science & Technology in partnership with the French University of Reunion Island, under the supervision of Professor Danny Osman from the Lebanese University and Dr. Chaker Al-Qalamouni from the French University.
