The Centre MINE organized a workshop on "Body Language"
In cooperation with the Center of Profession, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Centre MINE) at the Lebanese University, the specialized youth coach “Aya Barakat” presented a workshop on the topic of “body language” on 24 January 2020.
In the presence of a number of students from various faculties in the Rafik Hariri University Campus - Hadath, Barakat explained the techniques related to movement, facial expressions, hand gestures, position and eye contact, and presented information on how-to better-read people.
During the workshop, participants were able to perform some practical and applied exercises under the supervision of coach Barakat, including examining non-verbal communication messages, managing personal signs, and controlling non-verbal communication in different situations.
It is noteworthy that the international coach Aya Barakat developed a number of empowerment programs for youth and adolescents, including the (TAMAKKAN) leadership and citizenship program and the (beYOUtiful) Program for empowering girls in leadership, emotional intelligence skills, professional consultations, fitness and health.
