The FLPAS - Branch 3 represents Lebanon in the final phase of the Arab “Moot Court - 2025”
The team from the Faculty of Law, Political & Administrative Sciences - Branch 3 has qualified for the final phase of the Arab moot court competition “Moot Court - 2025” and will represent Lebanon at its 11th edition, to be held at Sultan Qaboos University in Oman between 14-16 April 2025.
Before qualifying for the finals, the FFAA team (Marie Gerges Tohme, Judy Abdel Rahman, Lara Taleb and Rama El Rifai) won the national ranking of the competition, held on 13 January 2025, under the supervision of Dr. Mohamad Khaled.
“Moot Court” is an academic platform that aims to enhance the critical thinking and legal skills of law students at Arab universities. It offers students the opportunity to handle complex legal cases that require research, analysis and advocacy before a specialized arbitration body, giving them a realistic experience similar to that of working in international courts.
