Two academic achievements for FLHS student Houssam Mohieddine
Lebanese University student Houssam Mohieddine won third prize in the Arab Theatrical Scientific Research 2024 competition launched by the Arab Theatre Authority (ATA) in Sharjah for his research “The dialectic of theory and transformation in post-truth theater”.
On 9 October 2024, Houssam published a book entitled “The Lebanese theater: crisis of critical reference from the text”, published by the Arab Theater Authority in Sharjah: a master's thesis he completed with excellent marks at the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences under the supervision of Dr. Jimmy Jean Azar.
Houssam is currently pursuing his doctorate at the Doctoral School of Literature, Humantities & Social Sciences. He has published dozens of critical articles in Arab magazines, newspapers and websites, and has participated in theater festivals around the world.
