
Workshop on rights of people with special needs in engineering, architecture, and the workplace
The Interior Design Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture – Branch 1, in collaboration with the Occupational Therapy Department at the Faculty of Public Health – Branch 1, organized a workshop entitled: "Blueprints for Inclusion: Embedding Disability Rights into Architecture & Ergonomics".
The workshop addressed the importance of the rights and integration of people with special needs in architecture and the work environment.
The workshop was hosted by the Executive Director of EDAN, Fadi El Halabi, who gave a lecture entitled "Blueprint for Inclusion".
The workshop was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture, Engineer Nawal Boudani, the Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Dr. Samah Domiati, and the Head of the Interior Design Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts & Architecture, Engineer Fida Hoteit, along with a number of professors and students from both departments.
