Khalifa and Raad won the "Independence Table Tennis" championship of the Faculty of Medical Sciences
Hussein Khalifa and Batoul Raad won the Independence Table Tennis Championship of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, during which twenty-two students participated from different academic years.
Khalifa ranked first after defeating Giovanni Gerges in the finals with a result of (11-5, 11-9 and 11-5).
During the semi-final round, Khalifa won over Ali Hamdan in two groups (12-10 and 11-8), and Gerges over Mahdi Ghandour in two groups (11-8 and 11-3).
On the other hand, Raad won the title after winning the finals against Marise Feghali in three groups (11-7, 12-10 and 11-5), and overcame the semi-finals by winning over Nagham Jaber (11-3, 11-1), and eliminating her colleague Linda Shamma in two groups (11-7 and 11-9).
It is noteworthy that coach Danny Nahnouh supervised the organization of the championship and was assisted by Abdel Karim Fakih and Youssef Said in leading the matches.
