
Minister Halabi inspects the colloquium examination center in Hadath
The Minister of Education & Higher Education, Dr. Abbas Halabi, inspected the colloquium examination center for the nursing specialization in the building of the Faculty of Public Health (Branch 1) on 15 December 2021.
Minister Halabi was accompanied by President Bassam Badran, Mr. Fadi Yarak, Director General of the Ministry of Education, Mr. Fadi Sanan, Director General of the Ministry of Public Health, Professor Youssef Fares, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Prof. Hasna Bou Haroun, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Professor Ahmed Al-Rifai, Director of the Faculty of Public Health (Branch 1), Professor Elie Hadchiti, Director of the University Medical Center, and Mr. Albert Chamoun, Media Advisor.
Dr. Abdel Mawla Shehab El-Din, Secretary of the Equations & Colloquium Committee in the Ministry of Education, and the team in the General Directorate of Higher Education briefed Minister Halabi on the exams, which were organized in a calm atmosphere taking into account all health preventive measures.
Minister Halabi and the accompanying delegation moved to the vaccination department in the University Medical Center, and inspected the administrative process from registration and organization to taking the vaccine, waiting and monitoring.
At the end of the tour, Minister Halabi indicated: “We visited the center and we made sure that examinations were conducted in an objective way, thanks to an automated information system.”
He added: “The Lebanese University, which is the basis of higher education in Lebanon, should be constantly supported, and the demands of its members met, in order to ensure scientific, academic and national sustainability. Furthermore, I salute the efforts of the President, the deans, the teaching staff, and the students of the university, hoping that they will always cooperate to advance this great institution.”
