Professor Dima Hamdan appointed Director of the ICESCO Chair at the Lebanese University
Professor Mohamad Mohsen, Dean of the Doctoral School of Literature, Humanities & Social Sciences appointed Professor Dima Hamdan, member of the Scientific Council, as Director of the ICESCO Chair in Lebanon.
This appointment follows the agreement to create the “ICESCO Chair in Art, Culture and Human Sciences East-West: Intercultural Relations and Inclusion”, signed on 22 June 2021, with the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) at the doctoral school.
The agreement aims to strengthen the importance of holistic research and knowledge exchange through scientific, cultural and creative activities, in addition to promoting transculturality between East and West.
It is noteworthy that Professor Mohsen will oversee the implementation of the terms of the agreement during the agreed period.
