Scientific Qualifications
- PhD in Linguistics/Translation, Stendhal University, Grenoble in 2013;
- Diploma of Advanced Studies in Specialized Translation from the Cervantes Institute in Beirut in 2005;
- Master in Translation from the Centre of Languages & Translation (CLT) at the Lebanese University in 2004;
- Bachelor Teaching Degree in translation from the CLT in 2003.
Professional Career
- Lecturer at the Faculty of Letters & Human Sciences in 2012;
- Director of the CLT since March 2024;
- Head of the Translation Department at CLT between 2021-2023;
- Coordinator of the Master in Arabic as a foreign and applied language at the CLT, between 2012-2024;
- Member of the Academic Committee/Department of Translation and Language Sciences of the Doctoral School of Literature, Humanities & Social Sciences, since 2028;
- Sworn translator before Lebanese courts;
- Former lecturer in the Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies at Bordeaux-Montaigne University;
- Author of research papers published in Arabic, French and English in international journals related to translation and the teaching of Arabic as a foreign language.
