LU students Ghinwa Kataya and Ghada Abou Chahine's project wins the GIL HADATH Entrepreneurship Competition
The project of Lebanese University PhD and Master students Ghinwa Kataya and Ghada Abou Chahine won the GIL HADATH entrepreneurship competition organized by NAWAYA Foundation as part of the "GIL/Innovation Leaders" program.
Out of 13 projects, Kataya and Abou Chahine's project, “Treating oil-polluted water using natural resources,” won support and funding to purchase a set of equipment needed to implement the project.
The project is part of Ghinwa's PhD research at the Doctoral School of Science & Technology, co-supervised by the University of Montpellier in Environmental Sciences, and Ghada Abou Chahine's second-year master's research in Chemistry at the Faculty of Science, under the supervision of Dr. Akram Hijazi.
